New York Fashion Week and Marvel Studios transported visitors to the hottest 'African nation' of the season -- the mythical Wakanda where the superhero movie Black Panther takes place.
The immersion was complete with the stage set under a blue sky and surrounded by greenery and the stars of the film, including Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong'o, mingling with the crowd.
The NYFW and Marvel presentation was the first of its kind for the studio Walt Disney Co, which owns Marvel.

The event would not have been complete without Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman -- seen here with Marija Abney -- himself.
