1. Monisha Jaising will present the finale

An old-time favourite, Monisha Jaising returns to Lakme Fashion Week runway with a collection that's meant for a diva. 

Titled 'Shades of a Diva', her collection will feature 65 statement-making silhouettes in a dichotomous colour palette of aqua, sea foam green, cherry red, fushia and ultra-violet.

Kareena Kapoor has been roped in as a showstopper, which means you got to prepare yourself for an extravagant and dazzling collection. 

The finale is also expected to give the audience a glimpse of Canadian entertainment company, Cirque du Soleil's Bazzar

It's one fashion show you'd want to book your front row seats for!

Most of the shows will take place at Mumbai's St Regis, however the final show is slated to be performed at Sahara Star.

2. #PlanetPositive collection

Lakme Fashion Week has always tried to break free from the ordinary and celebrate diversity.

Keeping up with the theme, LFW, which has given us some extra-ordinary shows over the years, will be present an Indian oriented #PlanetPositive collection.

Designer Rajesh Pratap Singh and international sustainable fibre brand Tencel will reunite for the second time for the collection. 

3. Aditi Rao Hydari to showstop for Jayanti Reddy

The actor is all set to turn showstopper for designer Jayanti Reddy's collection The Twilight Zone, which aims to capture that fleeting magical moment before day ends and night begins.

4. Kalki to walk for Gaurav Katta

The designer will be presenting his collection Souvenirs of British India on the final day.

Kalki Koechlin is expected to walk the ramp for the designer's collection that is inspired by the classical murals and roof paintings in Rajasthan from the British era.

5. Narendra Kumar's plus-size range

A plus-size model checks her phone during the show fittings.

The designer will be presenting his first-ever plus-size range in collaboration with aLL Primero.

Titled Never Hyde, Narendra wanted 'to explore how fashion means the same for everyone, and whatever size you are, you wear fashion for the sake of fashion and not for the sake of hiding your body.'

His collection offers a variety of styles like athleisure, day and evening wear. 

6. Abraham & Thakore return to LFW

Other designers including Pankaj & Nidhi, Kallol Datta and Ashish N Soni will also be making a comeback on the LFW ramp.
