As an Indian student lost his life in an unprovoked murderous attack in England, we are asking you, Dear Readers, to share with us tips on how one can avoid getting attacked in the United Kingdom.
On December 26, Anuj Bidve was shot dead in Salford, near Manchester.
Anuj was out with friends when two men walked up to them outside a McDonald's restaurant. There was a short exchange of words after which one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot Anuj at point-blank range.
Anuj, 23, was doing a postgraduate degree in microelectronics at Lancaster University. A fan of Manchester United, he was visiting Manchester for the Christmas break when he was killed.

Kevin Mulligan didn't rule out racism as a motive for the killing.
The police say they are taking all measures to prevent such attacks from recurring in the future, but there is nothing more valuable than advice from those who have studied in the UK and protected themselves from such attacks.
