The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune announced the HSC class 12 board examination results today, May 25 at 1 pm.
A total of 86.60 per cent students have cleared the examination in the state this year, a drop of nearly 4 per cent from 2015.
Last year, 91.26 per cent students had passed the examination.
This year, 13,19,754 students appeared for the examination which was held between February 21 and March 26, 2016.
Konkan region tops with a pass percentage of 93.29 per cent.
Like last year, this year too, girls outshined the boys with a pass percentage of 90.50. A total of 83.46 per cent boys cleared the examination.
