Honda CBR 250RR launched; No India plans yet

The Honda CBR 250RR has been formally unveiled in Indonesia and sales are set to begin by the month of November 2016. Honda does not seem to have any plans of launching the bike in India yet, says Indian automobile website MotorBeam.

The legendary Honda CBR 250RR is considered as a blessing to us mere mortals by the horsepower Gods themselves. The defining features of the bike such as a crazy redline of 14,000 RPM, 4-cylinder engine, and overall badass looks makes the two-wheeler a hot favourite among enthusiasts all over the world.

Now the golden boy of Japanese bikes has returned for its 2016 avatar and sports some extensive changes.

The Honda CBR 250RR has been announced in Indonesia and has grabbed the attention of every biking enthusiast for a whole lot of reasons. The bike now gets an all new design, an all-new chassis and an all new heart -- albeit with two fewer cylinders. The engine has a DOHC set up and ride-by-wire throttle, with 3 switchable engine modes along with a power output of more than 35 BHP.

The 2016 Honda CBR250RR is an all new bike with styling so sharp that you will get papercuts just by looking at it. It also gets dual LED headlights, which get a nice chiselled design to amplify its mean stance.

The high tail, sharp nose and the dual exhaust set up make this bike one mean machine which is hard to miss. The motorcycle also gets full aluminium swing arms to keep the weight down, while maintaining the strength.

The 2016 model also gets a new generation steel truss frame to make it more track friendly along with full aluminium swingarms to keep the weight down, while maintaining the strength.

Suspension is handled by an adjustable monoshock at the rear and upside down forks up front. The bike will be released in Japan on a later date, and sales in Indonesia are set to begin by November 2016. However Honda doesn't seem to have any plans of launching the CBR 250RR in India.
