What: The TOEFL Scholarship 2011 is now open for applications. Nine scholarships in all, for under-graduate or post-graduate study, will be given out to deserving candidates. Three of these are worth $10,000, and six are others worth $5,000 -- for studies at a college or university in UK, US, or Canada.
Who can apply: You must be currently living in India, and begin under-graduate or post-graduate studies in 2011 at a college listed in the TOEFL Destinations Directory. You must hold a grade point average (GPA) of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale, or 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. You must have a valid TOEFL score.
Requisites: A completed application form with TOEFL test scores, a written essay, and official transcripts. Selected applicants will be called for an interview.
Important dates: April 15, 2011 is the last day to submit the application with the above requirements. June 1, 2011 is the last day to send a PDF form by email of your university's official letter of acceptance.
