Arlington National Cemetery

National World War II Memorial
Situated on D C's National Mall, the WWII memorial features a semicircle of pillars (representing the U.S. states of 1945) flanked by arches adorned with eagles and wreathes.
Vietnam Veterans Memorial
The V-shaped black granite wall is inscribed with the names of the war's casualties and features a bronze statue, The Three Soldiers.
Korean War Veterans Memorial
Located in West Potomac Park, south of the National Mall, the Korean War Veterans Memorial consists of 19 statues depicting a platoon of servicemen on patrol, a wall inscribed with the nations that contributed troops to the war, and a granite-lined "Pool of Remembrance."
