For long, Sony's PlayStation consoles have been missing that one triple-A exclusive shooting game franchise that could rival PC titles like Half-Life and Crysis and Xbox 360 exclusives like Halo and Gears of War.
They hope to finally bring that argument to a screeching halt this year, with the highly anticipated, and much hyped Killzone 2, the third installment in Guerrilla Games' Killzone franchise which has, in the past, promised much but fallen well short of the mark.
With Killzone 2, however, the Amsterdam-based studio has hit the sweet spot, delivering one of the most enthralling gun battle experiences wrapped in an audio-visual package we have never before witnessed on a gaming console.
