JJ Valaya put this year's LFW in motion

JJ Valaya put this year's Lakme Fashion Week in motion with a breathtaking show, which showcased both cutting-edge clothing and exclusive jewellery. Valaya describes the collection as a 'fantasy showcase in which currency is introduced into the kingdom of Valaya' and is aptly named 'Paisa'.

Seen on the ramp was a mix of Indo-western wear followed by a vibrant fusion of new-age ethnic wear. From fabric to accessories, styling and line, inspiration has been drawn from currency notes and imbues Rajasthani feel, complemented beautifuly by the Jodha-Akbar-esque music.

Opening the show was the evergreen Rahul Dev.
