Thanks to a Web site developed by three engineering students under the aegis of Directorate of Deputy Education, Mumbai, (the nodal agency that looks after the administrative affairs and policy-making of colleges in Mumbai), Class X students will be able to apply online for Class XI admissions to all the colleges in Mumbai.

Varun Seth, one of the developers of the Web site answered readers' queries in a chat on June 23 on how this process will help students fill in their application forms online and save them the trouble of standing in long queues.

Plus assume a student say Ashok Mehta applies online and then also applies in persons so at the time of prpearing the merit list there could be duplication. How do you deal with this situtation.Next ins case u feel that Mehta Bijal Bharat has been duplicated and land up dleting one entry and that entry is of another Mehta Bijal Bharat then what do you do then.

This slip would be generated once you successfully select and make payment for the college. This slip would act as a proof at the time of merit lists. Yeah the site is currently only for the Mumbai region.
