What: The American Alumni Association, a not-for-profit organisation, has announced financial assistance by way of a Rs 50,000 grant, to financially needy students who have secured admission or have an admission offer in a US college or University for higher studies.
Selection criteria
(a) Educational accomplishment
(b) Relevance of educational programme to India
(c) The financial need of the student and family
(d) Stature of the US university relative to the desired programme.
Based on the above criteria, the AAA Student Grants Committee shortlists students who are then interviewed to decide the final Grant recipients.
