shefali asked, dr, i hve swelling in both of my arm pits,and they become tender during my periods, they also give me a pain? would like to know wht is it? can it be cured by homeopathy ? is it cancerous?

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, It is difficult to answer this question without looking at you personally. Would recommend that you consult a doctor for the diagnosis and then get back. Since it comes only during your periods, it doesnt appear to be cancerous and appears like inflammation of the axillary lymph nodes.

Jawaid asked, I am a patient of Chronic ulcerative colitis for last two years now.I have tried all sorts of medicine but no comfort.I tried homeopathy also but sysptoms get worse then I was forced to discontinue.Pls advise

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, Ulcerative Colitis is a chronic condition accompanied by frequency of stools and sometimes even bleeding. It's not easy to treat Ulcerative Colitis and it takes a long time to get alright even through homeopathy. Stress can be a common reason for the problem to continue. You should consult a good homeopath and continue your treatment.

veer asked, HI Doctor, i am suffering from GAS problem for last 3 to 4 years. tried all the medicine temp relief then same problem.. could you please sugest me the good medicine

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, There are many reasons for Gas. It could also be accompanied by a chronic amoebic infection which may need to be treated on a regular basis for sometime. To get a relief from your problem, you may take Carbo Veg 30C 5 pills 2-3 times a day.

Jaideep asked, Does homeopathy offer any treatment in schizophrenia

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, Schizophrenia or a Split Personality as it is commonly known is not very easy to treat. Homeopathy does offer solutions but it needs treatment and follow-up over a long period.

Vinu asked, I've gained a lot of weight in the past few years, and can't reduce. Checked it with doctor, who has diagnosed it as thyrouid problem. Results are awaited.

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, Increase in weight is normally found in hypothyroidism where the thyroid gland does not function properly. Its easy to lose weight once your thyroid problem is checked. Recommend you try Fucus V 6C 5 pills twice a day half an hour before lunch and dinner.

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, Allergy tests merely help you to identify known allergens. However, allergies come from a hypersensitive reaction in patients. It is therefore important to build immunity and reduce hypersensitivity through homeopathic medicines. You may start homeopathy right away.

sheeja asked, dr, for the last few days i am getting chest pain frequently. even a small tensions gives me chest pain. 1 year before i have taken xray, 2decho test. the result was normal. is it necessary to go for check up. I am 28 years old, not married. presently i am staying with one of my relative, my parents is at Mumbai and I am at cochin. Unnecessary I dont want to bother my relatives. Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, Since you've already done your tests, and they have come normal, you should not worry about your chest pain. It may be related with anxiety. I recommend you take Kali Phos 6X 3 tablets whenever you get the chest pain. It should help you to settle well.

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, Try Senna 6C 5 pills at bedtime. Also cut out non-vegetarian food and increase the fibre intake, plenty of fruits and vegetables.

chella asked, why homeopathy treatment takes longtime for actual benifit? what is the reason behind it?

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, Homeopathy takes long in chronic cases since it doesnt believe in suppression of symptoms. However, in acute cases like colds, cough, diarrhoea, it acts very quickly and without any side-effects.

Dr. Mukesh Batra answers, There is no such medicine.
