Brides, get wicked 'n' wild

Glitzy, kitsch sums up designer Pria Kataria Puri's collection for the bridal trousseau.

Inspired by the city of Istanbul, the collection had a mix of the oriental and occidental, with hints of Byzantine briliance and Ottoman opulence.

There was an overdose of glitter, which culminated in the showstopper -- a golden glittery affair (far right).

The collection had short silk skirts in vintage prints, long flowy robe-like dresses and chic, short tunics. Funky boots added a leather touch to the otherwise soft and flowy collection.

Rich colours, fine embroidery and luxurious fabrics made this collection a feast for the eyes.
