Science or Arts? Psychology or Aeronautics? If you've just taken your 10th or 12th standard exams, and are awaiting the results, the choice before you is endless. You could opt for a degree in fashion design if you have an artistic bent of mind or hotel management if hospitality is what you enjoy. Though most of you have some idea of the options available to you, there are a lot of careers out there that you may not be aware of. In a chat with readers Chandra Bali, a career guidance counsellor with Young Buzz, addressed queries about how to go about choosing a career, what a career in a particular field would entail and a number of other issues. geetha asked, Hi, I am Biology, Physics, Chemistry student in Intermediate (i.e. 12th). I am not sure of what to do. I have options like Physiotherapy and B.Sc. Biotech/genetics etc. I have scored 83 per cent.
Chandra Bali answers, You can go for B.Sc Biotech or any of the biosciences. It is a more research-oriented field than physiotherapy. You can also do your management after graduation.
Leena asked, Hi Chandra, I wanted to know if I can study Law after I graduate. What would be my possible options?
pol asked, I have done a diploma in administrative management after the 12th and finished my B.Comm. Kindly advise me on what I should do next?
