Camping, trekking, skiing in Manali

What: India [Images] Outdoors, an adventure travel company, offers a camping, trekking and skiing tour to Manali, from Mumbai [Images].

Tour cost: Rs 10,500 per person, plus taxes.

Date of departure: April 15

Itinerary

~ Day 1: Assemble at Bandra Terminus. Depart for Delhi [Images] by Paschim Express. Overnight in train.

~ Day 2: Arrival at New Delhi. Proceed to refresh at a hotel. Lunch. Depart for Manali by deluxe coach.

~ Day 3: Arrive in Manali at 10 am and check-in at hotel. Spend the day sightseeing -- Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashist Temple & hot springs. Overnight at hotel.

~ Day 4: Manali To Solang Valley - 13 kms. Camp At Solang Valley.

~ Day 5: Solang to Dhundi - 8 kms. Camp at Solang Valley.

~ Day 6: Adventure activities. Camp at Solang Valley.

~ Day 7: Solang Valley to Phatru - 6 kms. Camp at Solang Valley.

~ Day 8: Solang Valley to Kothi - 7 kms. Camp at Kothi.

~ Day 9: Kothi to Forest Area - 6 kms. Camp at Kothi.

~ Day 10: Kothi to Water Fall - 5 kms. Camp at Kothi.

~ Day 11: Full-day Snow Point Tour Rohtang Pass. Skiing. Overnight stay at hotel.

~ Day 12: Transfer from camp to Manali. Evening, depart by deluxe coach for Delhi.

~ Day 13: Arrive in Delhi at about 10 am. Refresh at a hotel. Lunch. Depart for Mumbai by the 4.30 pm Paschim Express.

~ Day 14: Arrive in Bandra Terminus, Mumbai, at 3.25 pm the following day.

~ Equipment: India Outdoors will provide sleeping bags, tents and other technical gear.

~ Adventure activities: Skiing, rock climbing, rappelling and river crossing.

Cost excludes

~ Any expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstance like train delays, roadblocks, landslides, any fuel/ hikes etc.

~ Meals during train journeys and surface transfers as specified.

~ Porter charges at the station.

~ Insurance cover.

~ Taxes

~ Any expense not mentioned under 'cost includes'.
