Singapore-based Lakshan Products, in association with the Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group, is planning to set up operations in Chennai to offer a motivational and accelerated learning programme targeted at teens between the age group 13 to 18 years.

Lakshan Products has plans to take the four-day programme beyond Chennai to cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi by the end of this year or early next year. The cost for the programme is expected to be between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000. The fee includes the cost of the course material.

The programme is based on a best-selling book by co-founder and CEO of AKLTG Adam Khoo, titled I Am Gifted, So Are You.

It will focus on three areas -- the first part is about personal mastery which deals with mindset, attitude and behavioural change; the second part focuses on family, communication and relationships and the third part of the programme trains the teen in accelerated learning techniques.

"The 'I Am Gifted, So Are You' motivational and accelerated learning programme is from Singapore. It focuses on the formative years when children are at an impressionable age," said Priya S Dixit, director, Lakshan Products.

The programme aims not only to assist teens in their academics but to also enhance their mental well-being by equipping them with various tools and techniques like neuro-linguistics programming and emotional intelligence.
