~ Students can avail of a 50 percent discount on registration fees.

~ Fashion: Watches, eyewear, clothes, bags, footwear, jewellery, travel accessories and bags.

~ Recreation: Sports, computer gaming, board games, toys.

Communication Design

Entry in this category is free.

~ Print: Newspapers, magazines, posters, brochures, catalogues, corporate identity, publishing, books.

~ Multimedia: Interactive media, Web sites, online advertising, animation.

~ Broadcast: Trailers, animations, variety programmes, short films, television commercials, documentaries.

~ Packaging: Eco-friendly, products, food.

Rewards

~ The most prestigious award is the red dot Luminary Award. It is conferred to the single most exceptional entry from among the entrant groups: company, professional and student.

The prize, worth $ 5,000 will be presented during the awards ceremony.

~ Each winning entry is entitled to the following post-award winner services:

• Special exhibition in the red dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany [Images].
• Travelling exhibition in Asian cities.
• Presentation on at least 1/1 page in the International Yearbook for the red dot Award: Design Concept 2005.
• Presentation on the Internet at the red dot Winner Lounge.
• Press and public relations work.
• Use of the red dot label.
• Invitation to the award ceremony and exhibitions.
• Communication via the e-mail newsletter.

~ Additional services

• Production of individual red dot communication materials.
• Internet winner portfolio and profile.
• Additional pages in the International Award Yearbook.

~ Within each competition category, there will be two to three red dot: Best Of The Best awards. 

Award ceremony/celebration Party

An award ceremony and an all night post-award celebration party will be held in November 2005 in Singapore.

~ Registration for the communication design category is free. Other categories require a payment of $ 180, inclusive of tax, by credit card (VISA or Mastercard) or bank transfer.
