Special weekly train connects Bangalore with Jodhpur

North Western railways will run a special weekly train between Bangalore, Karnataka, and Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from Wednesday, October 6, to meet the demand created by increased passenger traffic.

The train will leave Bangalore every Wednesday at 2125 IST (9.25 pm) and reach Jodhpur at 1810 IST (6.10 pm) on Friday.

The train will leave Jodhpur every Saturday at 0530 IST (5.30 am) and reach Bangalore at 1600 IST (4 pm) on Monday.

The first trip from Jodhpur is scheduled for October 9.

The train, which will connect south India with western Rajasthan, will run till passenger traffic eases on the route.

The train will have air-conditioned, sleeper and general coaches.
