New station on Konkan Railway

What: A new station at Sape-Wamne on the Konkan Railway route will be operational from December 15.

Sape-Wamne is about 7.7 km from Karanjadi station in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra.

The new station is between Veer and Karanjadi stations.

This move is thanks to the huge demand from the people residing in villages around Sape Wamne, a Konkan Railway release said.

Train name and number: KR3/KR4 Dadar-Ratnagiri-Dadar passenger train.

Halt details: The above trains will halt at Sape-Wamne for a minute. 

The timings:

~KR3 Down arrives at Sape-Wamne at 8.35 pm.

~KR4 Up reaches Sape-Wamne at 9.19 am.
