Satya has trained as a scriptwriter by a LA based writer for whom she has developed a script for Hollywood and attended a 3-day workshop on direction by Gill Bettman, a professor of writing and direction at Chapman University in LA. Her winning entry was a short film based on the introspective thoughts of an obsessive woman.
“I feel immensely fortunate, excited and encouraged; this is one of the best things to have happened to me,” she says on being short listed as one of the 18 finalists.
