2005's first big release is all set to scorch celluloid.

India awaits, with bated breath, showman Subhash Ghai's return to direction after four arid years.

Kisna is an opulent period film, set in the heartland of India in 1947.

The film stars Vivek Oberoi in the title role of Kisna, the warrior poet. Also featuring are British actress Antonia Bernath and dancer Isha Sharvani.

Kisna releases January 21.
