First Look: New York supports Water

Scenes from the IAAC Oscar Party The Indo-American Arts Council brought in the Oscars with a fun party in New York.

In the foreground is IAAC Executive Director Aroon Shivdasani.

Also seen was Manu Narayan (inset), star of the musical Bombay Dreams.

The crowd was rooting for Deepa Mehta's Water, which lost out to the German film The Lives Of Others.
