Brad Pitt is Achilles in Homer's epic
Brad Pitt is heading for ancient Greece.
The superstar has signed on to star in Wolfgang Petersen's Homeric epic Troy, according to Variety. He'll play heroic Achilles in the adaptation of The Iliad.
This announcement throws a big wrench in the works for Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain, which Pitt just recently dropped, despite having stuck with the sci-fi flick through more than a year of delays.
