Viva, the all-girl pop group, is now a four-member team. The fifth member Seema has walked out.
The split was confirmed in Guwahati by band manager Lilya Fernandez. Viva was in Guwahati to performat a live concert Sunday.
Originally consisting of five girls, the group now had the quartet of Anoushka, Mahua, Pratichee and Neha performing before a sell-out crowd Sunday night. This was the second show in a week that Viva performed without Seema. "It was a mutual decision we took in a cordial atmosphere two weeks back," said Neha.
Undeterred by Seema's departure, the pop band is about to come up with another album early next year. "It will be an expression of our creativity. It will have our own stamp," Neha said. "Watch out for the album."
The band also plans to go overseas on stage shows.
