Asoka, now a TV serial!
Santosh Sivan's Asoka will be the first Hindi film ever to be televised on small screen. Star Television Network has accquired the rights of Shah Rukh Khan's second home production (the first being Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani). It will be aired for an hour every Tuesday. The original, uncut version of Asoka, which is five hours long will be screened, as opposed to the edited version of three hours.
Stars celebrate Mothers day American television Channel Hallmark will celebrate Mother's Day with stars. In this series, stars talk about their relationship with their mothers and the significance of Mothers Day. Kajol, Abhishek Bachchan and Esha Deol have been roped in already. Mother's Day is celebrated on May 12.
Spider-Man sequel slated for 2004 release After a record-breaking opening of Spider-Man at the US box ofiice, Columbia Pictures has announced May 7, 2004 as the release date for the sequel. The sequel will begin filming in 2003 and will be directed by the same director Sam Raimi. The cast (Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst) will also remain the same.
