Mahima's loss is Raveena's gain

Mahima Mahima Chaudhry has been dropped for her unprofessional attitude once again.

The actress wanted four songs to be picturised on her in Mahesh Manjrekar's Pran Jaaye Par Chawl Na Jaaye. But the demand could not be accommodated.

So Raveena has replaced Mahima.

Maybe she should rethink her career moves.

Akbar Khan keeps his lead stars under wraps

Manisha Director Akbar Khan has already finished two schedules of his latest film, Taj Mahal.

Yet, he kept the lead actors a secret for a long time. Though the actor who plays the younger Shah Jahan is still under wraps, Mumtaz Mahal is played by debutante Sonia Khan. One may recognise her as the Libas model.

The film also stars Arbaaz Khan (Aurangzeb), Manisha Koirala (Jahan Ara), Kabir Bedi (the older Shah Jahan) and Pooja Batra.

Rahul Bose in Aparna Sen's next

Rahul Bose 36 Chowringhee Lane director Aparna Sen is back with her latest film, Mr and Mrs Iyer.

The film, starring Rahul Bose and Sen's daughter Konkana, is a love story between a South Indian man and a Bengali woman, set against the backdrop of violence. It will be an English film.

Bose is probably relieved at bagging this project, especially since no film projects are coming his way and his directorial debut Everybody Says I Am Fineis stuck for want of distributors.
