Aamir vs Amitabh at the UP polls?

Aamir Khan In order to outdo the Samajwadi Party which roped in superstar Amitabh Bachchan to campaign for them in the UP polls, the BJP is likely to bring in Aamir Khan, to campaign for the party.

Besides Aamir, the other film stars included in the BJP list are Om Puri and Hema Malini. Vinod Khanna who is a BJP MP from Punjab will also campaign in UP, besides his home state.

The decision to rope in these stars is also meant to snub BJP Rajya Sabha MP and popular actor Shatrughan Sinha, who refused to campaign for the party. Sinha excused himself citing his busy schedule as one of the main reasons.

Abhishek finally appears in K3G

Abhishek Bachchan Here’s reason for K3G fans to rejoice. The DVD of the blockbuster film will soon release.

And director Karan Johar has revealed that the scene with special guest Abhishek Bachchan which was omitted from the film will be added on the DVD.

February: Feast for film buffs

Meghna Gulzar Meghna Gulzar’s Filhaal and Vikram Bhatt’s Raaz release on February 1. February 8 sees debutantes Rahul Bhat and Akanksha star in Yeh Mohabbat Hai, which is pitted against Vadh, starring Nana Patekar and Anupama Verma.

On February 15, the Akshay-Abhishek-Karisma starrer Haan… Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya hits the marquee. The action heats up on February 22 when three biggies clash on the same day: Salman Khan’s Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Bobby Deol’s Kranti and Fadeen Khan’s Kitne Door Kitne Paas will slug it out at the BO.

Om Puri to star in Lakeer

Om Puri will play the main lead in Aamir Raza Husian's war epic Lakeer. The film is based on the Kargil war.

Husian had also staged a play on Kargil called The 50 Day War.
