Kaante, Saathiya don't quite break the BO jinx |

| The Hindi film industry had its hopes high on the fate of Sanjay Gupta's Kaante at the box-office. The year 2002 has been ridden with lacklustre performances at the BO. This is a jinx that the industry has not yet got out of.
Though Kaante is in no way poised to break that jinx, it did open well. On the same day, debutant director Shaad Ali's Saathiya opened. The film too is faring well at the BO.
