Bala offers nothing new
Goldmine Films' Bala is another movie in the rowdy genre where a ‘dada’ hero with a heart of gold falls in love with a nice girl against the backdrop of two warring gangsters. No soul
Thilakam is a family entertainer without any soul and substance. The only saving grace in this otherwise boring film is the performance of Jagathy Sreekumar. Reghu (Koottikkal Jayachandran) and Ravi (Saji Soman) are best of friends. They are married to Maya (Uma Shankari) and Geetha (Joemol).
