That's the tagline of Karan Johar's latest entertainer, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...

So, of course, you need parents. Enter the Raichands. Businessman Yashovardhan Raichand (Amitabh Bachchan) and his doting wife Nandini (Jaya Bachchan) have everything one could possibly ask for in life -- including two obedient and loving sons, Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Rohan (Hrithik Roshan).

Nandini loves both her sons, but shares a special relationship with the adopted Rahul.

Life courses smoothly for the Raichands until Rahul falls in love with the vivacious Anjali (Kajol). He defies his father, who does not approve of Anjali's middle class status. Much to his mother's dismay, this is one time Rahul refuses to compromise and leaves home to marry Anjali.

Which is when Rohan steps in. He promises his mother he will set things straight and bring Rahul home. But, in keeping that promise, he falls head over heels for Anjali's pretty sister, Pooja (Karriena Kapoor) aka Poo.

Will Yashovardhan ever forgive Rahul? Will Rohan convince Rahul to return? Will the Raichands unite as a family again?
