              Meet rediff.com's current Star Of The Fortnight.

          Manoj is one of the most gifted actors to have emerged in Bollywood in the last
          few years. After small roles in Bandit Queen, Tamanna and Dastak, Manoj took
          the film world by storm with his brilliant portrayal of Bhiku Mhatre in Ramgopal
          Varma's Satya. He followed it up with two more outstanding performances in
          Kaun and Shool.

Acknowledged as one of the better actors of the current generation, Manoj has several interesting films lined up for release in the coming months. Included in these are Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar and Ghaat in which he co-stars with Tabu, followed by Aks, in which he is pitted on the other side of the moral fence with Amitabh Bachchan.

This versatile actor has also ventured into another arena -- he is now the model for a well-known garments manufacturer.
