Anil Kapoor is rediff.com's new Star Of The Fortnight.

Not many will realise the fact that Anil Kapoor has spent 20 long years in the industry. Part of the credit goes to the actor himself, who has spaced his releases while continuing to be lauded for his performances. Over the last year, he had some rather unusual performances, vide Taal, Biwi No 1 and Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rahte Hain.

And now, he readies for the release of the Kapoor mega-production Pukar. A film in which his performance is generating much applause from those who have been allowed sneak previews. Pukar will hit theatres across the country on February 4.
