Seeking to put up a show of unity, Bharatiya Janata Party's old warhorse Keshubhai Patel will share the dais with his arch rival Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the concluding phase of Modi's 'Gaurav Yatra' in Surat on November 12.
BJP spokesman Arun Jaitley told reporters in Ahmedabad on Sunday that besides Modi and Patel, Union Textiles Minister Kanshiram Rana, not a known Modi loyalist, would also be there in Surat with other important leaders.
Dismissing reports about differences between Patel and Modi, Jaitley said in a lighter vein: "I also see all about that mostly in media. Within the party, we have not heard about any such thing."
In the eight phases of the yatra, Modi crisscrossed the state, while Patel made only a token appearance at Phagvel in Kheda district when the first phase of the yatra was flagged off on September 8.
