PM congratulates Modi

 Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Sunday congratulated Gujarat caretaker Chief Minister Narendra Modi for the BJP's good showing in the assembly elections in the state. Vajpayee, who telephoned Modi in the morning, also congratulated him on his personal victory in the Maninagar seat by a margin of 75,331 votes.
