The Bharatiya Janata Party retained the Godda Lok Sabha seat in Jharkhand on Sunday.
BJP leader and Rural Development Minister Pradeep Yadav defeated his nearest Congress rival Furkan Ansari by 93,262 votes.
While Yadav polled 2,35,939 votes, Ansari got 1,42,677, election office sources said.
Other contestants were the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's Hussain Ansari, the Rashtriya Janata Dal's Sanjay Yadav and Jharkhand Vikas Dal's Suraj Mandal.
The seat had fallen vacant after the death of BJP's Jagadambi Prasad Yadav.
