20 hurt in AnantnagAt least 20 people, including 18 security personnel and two polling agents, were injured in attacks by militants in the Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency where only 3.5 per cent turnout was recorded till noon. Nine Central Reserve Police Force jawans were injured when a rocket fired by militants hit a building in the Pulwama assembly segment this morning, official sources said. Three security personnel and two polling agents of the Communist Party of India and the National Conference were injured in a blast at Pampore on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, they said. Another blast near a booth at Maminder in the Shopian assembly segment during polling injured at least six security personnel. Polling, which was suspended for sometime, resumed later, the sources said. Security forces detected a powerful mine planted by suspected militants at Saboora this afternoon, they said. UNI
