Sachin Tendulkar fans will have their fingers crossed when he walks out to bat on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies at the Wankhede stadium on Friday.

Yes, they are looking for a hundred from the batting legend, who is playing his farewell 200th Test.

Tendulkar was an unbeaten on 38 at the end of Day 1 as India seized early control of the Test after disciplined bowling saw the West Indies being shot out for a meagre 182 by tea.

The 40-year-old batting icon was confidence personified during his time in the middle on the opening day. If he continues batting in the same vein on the second day, getting a 52nd Test hundred is a certainty.

The Master Blaster has scored just one hundred on his home ground, against Sri Lanka a few years back. A second has been long on the cards, and should it happen, it will be a perfect farewell gift to his fans.
