Following some explosive batting by Suresh Raina and Michael Hussey, Chennai Super Kings thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad by 77 runs in Uppal on Wednesday. Here are the statistical highlights from that Indian Premier League match.

# Michael Hussey (67 off 42 balls) became the first player to post five fifties in the present competition. Overall, he has registered a century and eleven fifties in 41 games in the IPL.

# With 574 runs (ave. 57.40), Hussey became the leading run-scorer in IPL 6. His aggregate is the highest by a Chennai batsman in an IPL season, surpassing Matthew Hayden's aggregate of 572 (ave. 52.00) in 12 games in 2009.

# Dale Steyn has bowled 147 dot balls in the present competition -- the most delivered by a bowler.

# Thisara Perera (3/45) took his tally of wickets to 15 -- the second highest for Hyderabad at the IPL, next only to the 17 by Amit Mishra.

# Chennai Super Kings became the first team to post 10 wins in this season of the IPL.

# Chennai's 77-run victory was their largest by runs margin against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL -- the biggest loss suffered by Sunrisers Hyderabad in terms of runs in the IPL.

# Chennai Super Kings' 223/3, the highest total by any team against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, and, it is also the highest total recorded by any team at Uppal.

# Chennai Super Kings became the first side to make 200 or more nine times in the IPL.

# With 458 runs at an average of 50.88, Suresh Raina became the fifth batsman to amass 400 runs or more at IPL 6. He became the first player to complete 400-plus in all the six editions of the IPL.

# Raina's excellent unbeaten 99 is the first such score in the IPL. He became the first batsman to post 98, 99 and a hundred in the IPL.

# Raina received his eighth Man of the Match award in the IPL.

# Ishant Sharma (4-0-66-0) now has a dubious feat of conceding most runs in an IPL innings.
