David Miller and Mandeep Singh stayed cool at crucial moments to guide Kings XI Punjab to a seven-wicket win over Pune Warriors on Sunday.
Miller struck two massive sixes in the final over to erase any hope Pune Warriors may have had of winning.
Earlier, Kings XI won the toss and elected to field on the grassy surface in Mohali.
There were plenty of changes in the Pune Warriors side, which was led by Aaron Finch, as Angelo Mathews is out of form.

A brilliant 42-ball 64 from Finch and a 10-ball 34 blitz from Luke Wright ensured that Pune Warriors finished with a competitive 185-4.
Yuvraj Singh too chipped in with a quick-fire 34 before Azhar Mahmood ended his reign.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar opened the bowling for Pune Warriors and grabbed the wicket of Adam Gilchirst.
Azhar Mahmmod and Manan Vohra also went back to the pavilion cheaply.

David Miller struck a brilliant 29-ball 50 to turn the heat on Pune Warriors.
