Cricket Association of Bengal officials have gone overboard with their celebrations for Tendulkar's 199th Test.
From conferring the batting icon honorary membership, felicitation by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, to naming a gallery after him, they are doing everything to match Tendulkar's home association, the Mumbai Cricket Association, in giving him a memorable farewell.

Tendulkar, who is entering his farewell series at No 24 in the rankings, will have the opportunity to draw curtains on his illustrious career by moving into the top-20, while India have a chance to snatch second place from England if they beat the West Indies and win the Test series.
