Sachin Tendulkar signed off his Ranji Trophy career with a match-winning half-century against Haryana, in Lahli, near Rohtak, on Wednesday.
Tendulkar played a cautious innings of 79 to steer Mumbai to a four-wicket victory in his final match for Mumbai.
The veteran batsman has announced he will retire from cricket, after the two-Test series against the West Indies, next month.

A lot of teams have suffered at the hands of Tendulkar in Ranji Trophy, especially Baroda against whom he has amassed 606 runs in six games.

Tendulkar started his Ranji career on a bang with a century on debut against Gujarat at the Wankhede stadium in 1988-89.
In his debut season he scored 583 runs in seven games at an average of 64 and has continued his good showing in the country’s premier domestic tournament right through his career.

India’s former left-arm spinner Venkatapathy Raju can claim the credit for the bowler who dismissed Tendulkar the most number of times in Ranji. He has got Tendulkar’s wicket three times, a feat which no other Indian bowler has achieved, with quiet a few claiming his scalp twice.
