Team India's Virat Kohli feels that Mahendra Singh Dhoni has done a "commendable job" leading the national team in the past few years.
Not one to be drawn into a debate on Indian captaincy, Kohli said, "I don't think one can question MS's leadership. As Indian captain, he has never done badly.
In fact, he has done a commendable job. As far as the captaincy is concerned, it is not something, which I should be concerned about. There is a selection committee that looks into the matter."
Recently, Kohli spoke about how Dhoni has told him to stay calm and not cross the line too much. When questioned whether, he should follow his instincts rather than follow someone else, Kohli stated, "It's not about trying to change. It's about what you can learn from someone."
Kohli also seemed to be against the opinion that Gautam Gambhir might only be a suitable captain for Test matches.
"Gautam has done wonderfully in all three formats. He knows how to change gears and led well in IPL also."
Asked about India-Pakistan series, which is on the anvil, Kohli said that one would get to see some good competition.
"One can always expect quality cricket when India and Pakistan are pitted against each other. It will also be good for the two cricket boards."
The Indian vice-captain said that he would be keeping a track of Indian contingent participating at the London Olympics.
"I would be keenly following the progress of MC Mary Kom and Saina Nehwal. I wish them all the best," said Kohli, who is rooting for Portugal in the ongoing Euro Championships.
"I have watched both matches of Portugal."
Come Sunday, Kohli will be playing a friendly football match against Ivory Coast and Chelsea superstar Didier Drogba and he seemed pretty excited about it.
"I am a big Chelsea fan and supported them in Champions league. Obviously Drogba is a big superstar and it will be real fun playing against him."
