PHOTOS: Dravid's magic continues as Rajasthan storm into CLT20 semis

Rajasthan Royals led by Kevon Cooper's superb performance with the ball crushed Perth Scorchers by a convincing nine-wicket margin to storm into the semi-finals of the Champions League T20, in Jaipur, on Sunday.

Cooper took four for 18 as Perth were bowled out for 120 before Rajasthan chased down the runs in 16.3 overs for their third straight victory in the tournament.

Rahul Dravid was dismissed for a duck in the first over but youngsters Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson set up an easy chase, hitting unbeaten knocks of 62 and 50 respectively.

Perth's batsmen disappoint

Perth never got going with the bat and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Openers Liam Davis (18) and Ashton Agar (10) fell in successive overs before captain Simon Katich was stumped off leg-spinner Pravin Tambe for 12 as Perth slipped to 62 for three in the ninth over.

Veteran Tambe shines with the ball

Veteran Tambe once again impressed with the ball.

Tom Triffitt was caught and bowled for two as Tambe, 41, finished with two for 17 in four overs.

Cooper destroys Perth

Cooper was the hero with the ball for Rajasthan as he registered splendid figures of four for 18 in four overs to destroy the visitors.

Adam Voges was the top-scorer with 27 from 21 balls but no other Perth batsmen were able to get past the 20-run mark in a disastrous batting performance by the visitors.

Michael Beer was run out off the final ball of the innings as Perth were bowled out for a paltry 120.

Rajasthan recover after early wicket

Rajasthan Royals lost the wicket of captain Rahul Dravid for a duck in the first over of the innings but that proved to be the only bright spot for the Perth bowlers.

Ajinkya Rahane got back among the runs with a fine innings of 62 not out from 53 balls, having hit five fours and two sixes.

Samson, Rahane lift Rajasthan to easy victory

Sanju Samson continued his impressive showing for Rajasthan with another wonderful performance with the bat.

The Kerala youngster played a sparkling innings of 50 not out from 42 balls, laced with six fours and a six. He was involved in an unbroken stand of 120 runs in 15.5 overs for the second wicket as Rajasthan cruised to 121 for one in 16.3 overs to storm into the semi-finals of the tournament.
