Bahutule to lead West Zone

Mumbai skipper Sairaj Bahutule will lead the 15-member West Zone cricket team in the four-day league match against Central Zone in the Duleep Trophy tourney to be held at Haryana on February 14-17.

Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) joint secretary and former Indian opening batsman Lalchand Rajput on Tuesday said that another former India player Hrishikesh Kanitkar will be his deputy while former India stumper Nayan Mongia will be the wicketkeeper.

"The team also includes young bowler Munaf Patel and Mumbai players Ramesh Powar, Nilesh Kulkarni, Vinayak Mane and experienced southpaw Vinod Kambli," he added.

Team: Sairaj Bahutule (capt), Hrishikesh Kanitkar (vice-capt), Nayan Mongia (WK), Vinod Kambli, Ramesh Powar, Nilesh Kulkarni, Munaf Patel, Vinayak Mane, Jacob Martin, Satyajit Parab, Dhiraj Jadhav, Rakesh Patel, Siddarth Trivedi, Akash Christian and Ranjit Khirid.
