More played 49 Tests and 94 One-Day Internationals between 1984 and 1994. He was vice-captain of India on its tour to New Zealand in 1989-90.
In his life after cricket, More was also an able cricket administrator. His most important contribution was as the chairman of selectors when the path for new India was charted by his panel.
