Mithali Raj to lead in quadrangular series

Mithali Raj will lead India in the women's quadrangular series, involving Australia, England and New Zealand, to be played in Chennai, from February 15 to March 6.

Jhulan Goswami has been named captain of the 14-member team, announced by Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Niranjan Shah in a statement on Wednesday.

The team: Mithali Raj (captain), Jhulan Goswami (vice-captain), Karuna Jain (wicketkeeper), Anjum Chopra, Sunetra Paranjpe, Hemlata Kala, Jaya, Sharma, Nooshin Al Khadeer, Amita Sharma, Priti Dmiri, Rajeshwari Goyal, M D Thirushkamini, Rumeli Dhar and Devika Palshikaar.

Standbys: Sulakshana Naik (wicketkeeper), Poonam Raut (batsman), Diana David (all-rounder).

Coach: Sudha Shah

Manager: Anju Jain

Physio: Sheela Jaya Rao

Trainer: Mr T Kamal Hassan
