The West Indies selection committee named 12 players from which the final 11 will be picked for the second Test against Australia, the West Indies cricket board announced on Friday.

Off-spinner Omari Banks and wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh -- both 20-year-olds -- are in the squad and look set to make their Test debuts in the match which starts on Saturday.

All-rounder David Bernard and fast bowler Tino Best were the two players to drop out of the original 14-man squad named on Wednesday.

Australia leads the four-match series 1-0 after a nine-wicket victory in Guyana last week.

The squad: Brian Lara (captain), Ramnaresh Sarwan (vice-captain), Omari Banks, Carlton Baugh, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Pedro Collins, Mervyn Dillon, Vasbert Drakes, Daren Ganga, Wavell Hinds, Marlon Samuels, Devon Smith.
