Zaheer completes 10-wicket haul

The bowlers dominated the second day of the West Zone vs Central Zone Duleep Trophy match with as many as 18 wickets falling on Saturday.

West were sitting pretty at two for no loss, requiring 135 runs for an outright victory to enter the finals.

Beginning from their overnight score of 104 for two, West were all out at 220, taking a lead of just 14 runs over Central Zone's first innings score of 206 all out. Sanjay Bangar claimed five wickets of West Zone giving away 37 runs in 21 overs.

In their second knock, Central Zone were dismissed for a paltry 150 with Zaheer Khan accounting for 4 wickets for 70 runs, taking his match tally to 10 wickets for 124 runs in 33.4 overs, while Munaf Patel claimed three wickets.

Jyoti Yadav made the highest of 41 for Central Zone, while skipper Mohammed Kaif, who is proving his fitness, failed to impress with the bat scoring just four runs.
