Statistical highlights of the first One-dayer between India and the West Indies, in Cuttack, on Tuesday.

# The West Indies became the first team to lose eight games by a one-wicket margin in ODIs.

# Under Virender Sehwag's leadership, India have won five and lost three ODIs -- success rate of 62.50 per cent.

# Apart from this, India's previous win by one-wicket margin was against New Zealand at Auckland on January 11, 2003.

# India have won 10 consecutive ODIs at home for the first time -- between March 20, 2011 against West Indies at Chepauk and November 29, 2011 at Cuttack.

# India, with this, have won all three ODIs against West Indies at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.

# Ravindra Jadeja (38 off 62 balls) has recorded his highest innings against the West Indies. It is his highest in a winning cause, eclipsing the 30 not out against Sri Lanka at Rajkot on December 15, 2009.

# Vinay Kumar (18) has recorded his highest innings in ODIs.

# Darren Bravo (60 off 74 balls) has posted his sixth fifty in ODIs -- his second against India.

# Umesh Yadav (2/33) recorded his second best bowling figures in ODIs, next only to the 2 for 32 against England at Hyderabad on October 14, 2011.

# Varun Aaron (2/47) produced his second best bowling figures in ODIs -- his best ever is 3 for 24 against England at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on October 23, 2011.

# Hyatt and Bravo put on 75 runs for the fourth wicket -- West Indies' second best for any wicket against India at Barabati Stadium -- the highest is 91 between Keith Arthurton and Brian Lara for the fourth wicket on November 9, 1994.

# Virat Kohli has taken his runs' tally this year to 1141 (avg. 43.88) in 30 ODIs, bettering Shane Watson's tally of 1139 at an average of 56.95 in 23 matches. Only England's Jonathan Trott has aggregated more runs than Kohli in ODIs this year -- 1315 (ave.52.60) in 29 matches.

# Kemar Roach (3/46) has recorded his best bowling performance against India, surpassing the 2 for 52 at Kingston on June 16, 2011.

# Roach now has 50 wickets (ave.25.22) in 32 ODIs to his credit.

# Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma were involved in a partnership of 83 for the sixth wicket -- India's highest against the West Indies at Barabati Stadium.

# Rohit Sharma (72 off 99 balls) has posted his fourth fifty against West Indies in ODIs -- his ninth in ODIs.
