'I would like to continue my good show at the Eden'

Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin hopes that he will continue his good show at the Eden Gardens when he comes onto bowl during the second Test match.

"I did well in the last ODI we played here. I'm looking forward towards continuing my good show here as well. Hope I do well and help India win the series (by taking an unassailable 2-0 lead)," Ashwin said."

Ashwin claimed three for 28 in India's 95-run win over England to clinch the ODI series 5-0.

Ashwin seemed to quite happy that he has struck a good partnership with teammate Pragyan Ojha who also got his maiden five-wicket haul in the first Test match in New Delhi.

"I know him for quite a long time since our junior days. We know each other well that helps while bowling. We are really enjoying each other's company. Ojha does well with his miserly bowling," he said.

Asked whether he has set his eyes on the Australia tour beginning December 26, Ashwin said, "It's too early... My focus is now on the second Test."

His newly-wedded wife Preethi Narayanan has also come along with him. Their marriage reception that was held on Saturday had 1000 guests including chairman of national selection committee Krishnamachari Srikkanth attending the function.
